David Hollis, Managing Director of A&O Consultancy Ltd., has recently received one of the prestigious Smart Awards for the company’s ‘Date Stamp’ software.
Smart Awards are presented by the UK’s Department of Trade and Industry, DTI, to help fund product innovation in the SME business sector.
The ‘Date Stamp’ software is a unique product which can be embedded into PDF documents and cause them to expire after a certain date. It was first developed to assist a trade association which publishes an Employment Manual each year. The ‘Date Stamp’ software enables the association to retain their membership from one year to the next.
“The Smart Award provides a significant boost to A&O Consultancy Ltd., and will enable the ‘Date Stamp’ software to be brought to market much sooner than had been expected,” said David Hollis. “The DTI’s support with the Smart Award is very much appreciated in this respect.”
